ChapDrive is a venture technology company with locations in Norway and Denmark.We are developing a new patented hydraulic drivetrain solution for windturbines that will reduce topweight, eliminate the mechanical gearbox and reduce cost of energy.

The technology has been tested in 225 kW and 900 kW wind turbines at our test site in Norway and next step is up scaling to 5 MW size. 

With promising test results, a strong management team and a staff of 20 competent and dedicated employees ChapDrive is now entering the commercialization phase.
